Child Dedication is an opportunity for parents to publicly display their commitment to raising their child according to God’s Word and His ways. This is always a special time, and we encourage you to invite family and friends to share in this experience!
Select one of our upcoming events to register your child to be dedicated.
Check out answers to common questions in the FAQs. If you have any other questions, contact the Kids Life team at kidslife@thelifechurch.com.
If you are interested in dedicating your child, we ask that you complete our registration form. Once a family registers, they will receive communication from their campus team with details about the time and location of the dedication experience. During the Child Dedication, a pastor will hold a moment of encouragement for all families and pray over each child.
No. You don’t need to be a member of The Life Church to have your child dedicated. We do encourage families to call The Life Church their home church and for parents to have an understanding and alignment with the beliefs, vision and purpose of The Life Church. Learn more about what we believe.
No. We believe your child is saved by grace alone, through personal faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of good works or any human effort. This can only happen when a child is old enough to understand the concept of salvation and the work of Jesus on the cross. After your child reaches a place of personal faith in Jesus, they may choose to be baptized. For more information on children and baptism, check out our Kids Life Water Baptism page.
