YOUNG ADULTS IN MEMPHIS

MORE THAN A SUNDAY SEAT

A church where young adults lead, serve, and build real community together.

A lot of churches say they want young adults. Fewer actually build environments where young adults can do more than just sit in the back row and leave. At The Life Church in Memphis, young adults are not an afterthought. They are an active, leading force in the life of the church, and the opportunities available reflect that.

A Serving Culture That Gives You Ownership

One of the first things young adults notice at The Life Church is how many people their age are actually doing something. Young adults lead worship on stage, run the production booth, serve on the Guest Experience team, lead Kids Life rooms, and organize outreach events. Serving at The Life Church gives you ownership of something that matters and connects you to a team that becomes family.

Life Groups Built for Your Season

For young adults who want community that goes beyond Sunday, Life Groups meet throughout the week across the Memphis area in multiple formats. Bible study groups dig into Scripture together. Dinner groups build friendships over a meal. Activity groups connect people through shared interests. There are groups specifically for college students, groups for working professionals, and groups for young married couples. Whatever your season, there is a group where you will fit.

Monthly College Nights

For young adults ages 18 to 25, The Life Church hosts monthly College Night services at the Highland location. These gatherings feature live worship, teaching geared toward the challenges young adults are navigating, and plenty of time to connect. You do not have to be in college to attend. If you are in that age range and looking to make real friendships, College Night is one of the easiest ways to get involved.

Leadership Development That Grows You

The Life Church does not just invite young adults to attend. It invests in growing them as leaders. Leadership Foundations is an eight-week Tuesday night experience that develops leadership skills, communication, and a heart for serving. For those ready to go deeper, the church offers a bible school to grow in leadership, theology, and ministry. These programs are where many young adults at The Life Church discover their calling and develop the confidence to lead in every area of life.

Not the Future of the Church, the Church Right Now

The Life Church does not treat young adults as the future of the church. They are the church right now. You will find twentysomethings in senior volunteer leadership roles, leading Life Groups, and shaping the creative direction of Sunday services. If you are a young adult looking for a church in Memphis where you will be challenged, developed, and given room to contribute, this is a community worth exploring.
