Axis is the student ministry of The Life Church for young people in grades 6 through 12, and it gathers every Wednesday night during the school year for an exciting, high-energy worship experience.
What Axis Looks Like on Wednesday Nights
Axis meets every Wednesday during the school year from 7:00p to 9:00p. Each night includes worship, fun, and great teaching from God’s Word. Our pastors preach the Bible in message series on topics like faith, friendship, prayer, honor, serving, passion, worship, temptation, church, discipleship, ownership, and biblical literacy. Each Axis service is led by a team of adult leaders who love young people, and every Axis volunteer goes through a background check before joining the team.
Tribes: Small Groups for Axis Students
At the end of the Wednesday night Axis service, students gather in small groups called Tribes. Tribes are gender and grade-specific and led by a consistent group of adult leaders. They exist to help students connect into church, grow spiritually and personally, and become leaders in their world. For students who are looking for a place to make friends and grow deeper in their faith, Tribes are where many of the strongest relationships in our youth ministry are built.
