YOUNG ADULTS IN MEMPHIS

YOUR NEXT STEP STARTS HERE

From your first Sunday to leading a group, there is a clear path for every young adult.

Being a young adult in Memphis can feel like a strange in-between. You might be done with high school but still figuring out what is next. You might be in college, starting a career, or new to the city entirely. Whatever your situation, The Life Church in Memphis has built a clear path for young adults that starts with a single step and grows with you.

Step One: Show Up on a Sunday or a College Night

The easiest entry point for young adults at The Life Church in Memphis is either a Sunday service or a monthly College Night. Sunday services take place multiple times at three locations across the metro area. College Night happens monthly at the Highland location and is designed specifically for ages 18 to 25. The vibe is relaxed, the music is live, and the teaching is geared toward what young adults are actually walking through. You do not need to know anyone to show up.

Step Two: Find a Life Group

Once you are ready for deeper connection, college-specific Life Groups meet throughout the week in three different formats. Bible study groups dig into Scripture together. Activity groups build friendships around shared interests. Dinner groups gather over a meal for conversation and community. You pick the format and time that works for your schedule. Most young adults at The Life Church say their Life Group is where Memphis started to feel like home.

“ Attended The Life Church for over a year... it's been my favorite church so far.

— Michael V.

Step Three: Grow as a Leader

For young adults who are ready to invest more deeply, The Life Church in Memphis offers Leadership Foundations, an eight-week Tuesday night experience that develops leadership skills, people skills, and a heart for serving. Beyond that, Life Leadership Bible School is a two-year online experience designed to develop committed, world-class leaders in the body of Christ. Students will deepen their understanding of Scripture, strengthen practical ministry skills and grow as Christian leaders alongside a global community.

A Church That Does Not Sideline the Next Generation

At The Life Church in Memphis, young adults are not a demographic the church is trying to retain. They are an active part of the vision. You will find young adults serving on the worship team, leading Life Groups, running production, and shaping the culture of the church. If you are a young adult in Memphis looking for a faith community that actually makes room for you to contribute and grow, visit thelifechurch.com to find your nearest location or check out the next College Night.
