When people in Memphis, Tennessee, search for a church home, they are usually looking for more than a service to attend. They want a place where the teaching is rooted in the Bible, the worship is genuine, and the people are warm. The Life Church has been part of the Memphis community since 1996, and people from across the city continue to choose it as their church home.
A Diverse, Spirit-Filled Church Founded in 1996
The Life Church was started in 1996 by senior pastors John and Leslie Siebeling. After serving three years as missionaries in Nairobi, Kenya, the Siebelings brought a core team of seven people to Memphis with a vision to plant a diverse, life-giving church for people of all races, cultures, and backgrounds. Today, The Life Church is a thriving, Spirit-filled congregation with thousands attending weekly services in multiple locations around the world.
