CHURCHES IN MEMPHIS

YOUR FIRST SUNDAY MADE SIMPLE

Everything you need to know before visiting The Life Church in Memphis.

Deciding to visit a new church for the first time can feel like a bigger decision than it should. You don’t know what to wear, where to go when you get there, or whether anyone will actually talk to you. At The Life Church in Memphis, the guest experience is designed to make your first visit feel simple, low-pressure, and genuinely welcoming from the moment you pull into the parking lot.

Before You Arrive

The Life Church meets at three locations across the Memphis area: Houston Levee in Eads, Highland in Memphis, and Austin Peay in Raleigh. Sunday services are at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM at every location. You will see people in jeans and sneakers right alongside people who dressed up. Come as you are.

When You Walk In

At every location, you will be greeted by the Guest Experience team. These are friendly, genuine people who will point you in the right direction, answer any questions, and make sure you do not feel lost. If it is your first time, stop by the New Here area after the service. The team there would love to meet you, give you a free gift, and answer anything you are wondering about.

“ I was truly shocked at how comfortable and welcoming it is here. I may have found a new church home.

What the Service Looks Like

A typical Sunday service runs about 80 to 90 minutes. It starts with live worship led by a full band, followed by a message from God’s Word that is practical, relevant, and designed to meet you wherever you are in life. The energy is warm but not overwhelming. You will not be called out or put on the spot.

What About Your Kids

The Life Church runs a full children’s ministry called Kids Life for infants through fifth grade during every Sunday service. Your kids will be checked in through a secure process, and they will experience age-appropriate worship, Bible teaching, and activities led by trained, background-checked volunteers. Most parents say their kids do not want to leave when they come to pick them up.

After the Service

There is no pressure to sign up for anything or make a commitment on your first visit. If you want to learn more, Discovery is a great next step. It is a class designed for anyone who wants to understand the heart of The Life Church and explore how to get connected. But there is zero pressure. Come back as many times as you want before you make a commitment to calling The Life Church your church.
