Health and Safety Procedures

Safety, spiritual development and fun are the three pillars of Kids Life. We have policies in place to create a safe environment for our children and volunteers.

All volunteers ages 18+ are background checked before entering a Kids Life room. No adult without a clear background check will be permitted in the classrooms.
Two Person Policy: Every class must maintain at least two volunteers in the classroom at all times, with at least one volunteer being an adult age 18 or older.
Bathroom Policy: Only female volunteers ages 18 or over are allowed to change diapers or assist a child in the bathroom. A volunteer will never be alone in the bathroom with a child at any time.
Allergy Policy: Kids Life is a nut-free environment. Parents can inform us of any additional allergies or medical concerns at registration. This information will be listed on your child’s name tag so teachers can be mindful of those concerns when dispersing snacks or treats. If your child develops any allergies after registration, just stop by our Guest Services area and they will be able to update your child’s information in our system.
Emergency Protocols: Each of our classrooms are equipped with emergency protocols in case of fire, inclement weather or lockdown. If any of these events occur, please follow the instructions given from the platform in the auditorium. No children will be released during an emergency situation until Kids Life receives an all-clear from the proper authorities.

Asking all volunteers and children to wash their hands upon entering the classroom; hand sanitizing wipes or hand sanitizer will be offered where sinks are unavailable.
Wiping down all surfaces before and after each service.
Sanitizing toys.
