BIBLE-TEACHING CHURCH IN MEMPHIS

SCRIPTURE MEETS REAL LIFE

A Bible-based church where God's Word speaks to what you are actually walking through.

Most people who are looking for a Bible-teaching church in Memphis are not just looking for someone to read Scripture from a stage. They want a church where the Bible is opened, explained, and connected to the situations they are actually facing, whether that is navigating relationships, raising a family, building a career, or walking through a difficult season. That is exactly how The Life Church in Memphis approaches teaching every single week.

Sermon Series Built on Scripture

The Life Church in Memphis organizes its teaching calendar around intentional sermon series that last several weeks at a time. Each series takes a theme that people are genuinely dealing with, like wisdom for decision-making, health, parenting, or finding purpose in work, and then walks through specific passages of Scripture to address it. In early 2026, the church taught through a series called “Spirit + Soul + Body” that explored what the Bible says about physical, emotional, and spiritual wholeness, drawing from Proverbs, the Gospels, and the Epistles. A summer 2026 series titled “Under the Sun” is walking through the wisdom books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Job, Psalms, and Song of Solomon and asking what Scripture says about meaning, joy, and purpose in everyday life.

This is Bible-based preaching that does not stay abstract. Every week, the message gives you something concrete to take into your Monday.

Multiple Teachers, One Vision

One of the things that makes The Life Church in Memphis unique as a Bible-teaching church is the depth of its teaching team. Pastor John Siebeling leads the church, but you will also hear from other gifted communicators on any given Sunday. With different perspectives and communication styles, the standard is always the same: open the Bible, teach what it says, and make it applicable. That variety keeps the teaching fresh while maintaining theological consistency.

“ The worship service is awesome! And the preaching is so on point! I couldn't see myself going anywhere else in Memphis.

— Lashe L.

Going Deeper Beyond Sunday

For people who want more than a Sunday message, The Life Church in Memphis provides multiple ways to study Scripture throughout the week. Life Groups across the Memphis area help members process God’s Word in a smaller, more personal setting. The church also presses in for 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer each January with focused Scripture reading and corporate prayer gatherings, and offers Discovery for anyone who wants to understand the biblical foundation of the church’s mission and beliefs.
